What are Cookies?

Cookies are small pieces of data stored on a user's device by a website to track user activity and to retain information. Whilst commonly associated with web browsing, they are also used within mobile apps to help build user profiles, ad targeting and location analytics. Cookies help improve the customer experience with generating personalized and relevant content based on the users (location) behaviors and interactions with an app.
